Entry and Dismissal Procedures: All children must be signed in and out of class by a designated adult whose name is on file. For the safety of the children, they will not be released to anyone who is not listed as authorized to pick up at dismissal. CAR POOL PARENTS please note that you must have written authorization to pick up children other than your own.
Picking up Late Charges: While we understand that there may be occasions that you may arrive late to pick up your child from class, we want to make it clear that our teachers are not babysitters and once class is finished so is their responsibility. We are not insensitive to unusual circumstances but if lateness becomes a pattern then we have to apply the following charges; $10.00 dollars will be charged for the first 15 minutes late. Thereafter, there will be a $1.00 dollar charge for each additional minute. If late fees are accrued students will not be allowed to return to class until the fees are paid.
Food/Snacks/Kashrut: The YM-YWHA is a kosher facility. This means that any food brought into the facility needs to have an OU Certification on the package label. If your child brings lunch or snacks to class please help us by checking the labels on the packages for the Kosher Certification.
Dress Code: All children must come dressed appropriately when coming to class. Students that need to change attire for a class must bring their clothing and change in the areas designated by the teachers. Dance class students especially may not come dressed in leotards or other skimpy outfits without exterior clothing.
Behavior Policy: It is our expectation that students will treat the staff and other students with respect at all times. Any violation will not be tolerated. Parents will be notified by an Administrator if there is an infraction and students will not be allowed to return to class. Tuition will not be refunded.
Family issues: In case of a family issue or emergency, make-up classes will be offered.
Tuition Refund Policy: After the First Week - Full Refund minus processing fee
After the Second Week - 90% Refund minus processing fee
After the Fourth Week - 80% Refund minus processing fee
After the Sixth Week - 70% Refund minus processing fee
After the Eighth Week - None
Bounces Check: There will be a $30.00 penalty for checks returned for insufficient funds. Full payment plus the penalty must be received within a week of notification and before any scheduled instruction.
Notice of withdrawal must be received in writing by the Arts For All Inc. Any tuition adjustments will be calculated from the date written notice was received.
Photographs and videos may be taken of students while attending lessons, classes or during performances. These photos become the property of Arts for All Inc. and may be displayed or used in publicity for organizational purposes without reimbursement.
